November  3, 2024 –

By Pastor Francis

Like a dream he flies away, no more to be found, banished like a vision of the night. The eye that saw him will not see him again; his place will look on him no more. His children must make amends to the poor; his own hands must give back his wealth. The youthful vigor that fills his bones will lie with him in the dust.

(Job 29:8-11 NIV)

September 29, 2024 – Samson’s Death and Burial (Judges 16:22-30)

By Pastor Francis

Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.”  Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.

(Judges 16:28, 30 NIV)

September 22, 2024 – What then is Sin?

By Pastor Francis

“And He, when He comes will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and
judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you no longer behold Me; and concerning judgment,
because the ruler of this world has been judged.”

September 15, 2024 – Show no Favoritism

By Pastor Francis

My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?.

(James 2:1-4 NIV)

September 8, 2024 – Children Playing in the Streets

By Pastor Francis

The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea..

(Isaiah 11:8-9 NIV)

September 1, 2024 – A Wedding Song for the King and his Bride

By Pastor Francis

My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer. You are the most excellent of men and your lips have been anointed with grace, since God has blessed you forever. Gird your sword on your side, you mighty one; clothe yourself with splendor and majesty.

(Psalm 45:1-3 NIV)

August 25, 2024 – Psalm 56  “In God I Trust”

By Pastor Francis

In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me? I am under vows to you, my God; I will present my thank offerings to you. For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before Godin the light of life..

(Psalm 56:10-13 NIV)
